About this Product

They shout "Free Palestine." Do you know what to say back?

Since October 7, the campaign against Israel has moved from the fringes to the center of Western life. Students chant for intifada on elite campuses. Activists hail Hamas as a resistance movement. Slogans like "from the river to the sea" and "Nakba" are repeated everywhere, and most people who hear them have no idea what they mean or where they came from.

"The Pro-Israel Handbook is a powerful and essential tool for anyone who wants to understand, and explain, Israel's truth. It presents facts clearly, dismantles myths intelligently, and gives every reader the confidence to stand up for Israel with knowledge and integrity."
Prof. Mordechai Kedar, Israel's expert on Middle Eastern studies

Supporters of Israel know the slogans are false. But knowing it and proving it are two different things.

In The Pro-Israel Handbook, Matan Peleg, the former head of Im Tirtzu, Israel's largest student movement, and an IDF reservist who served in Gaza and Lebanon, gives you the facts that win the argument. Drawing on British Mandate records, Ottoman census data, 19th-century travelers' accounts, captured Palestinian Authority documents, and the words of Arab leaders themselves, Peleg makes three arguments that every defender of Israel needs to understand:

There is no such thing as a "Palestinian people." The Arabs who lived in the Land of Israel came from Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Bosnia, and dozens of other places, and their own leaders admitted that a separate Palestinian identity was invented for political purposes.

There is such a thing as a "Palestinian ideology," and it has Nazi roots. From the Grand Mufti's meeting with Hitler to Arabic editions of Mein Kampf in Gaza to UNRWA textbooks that teach children to count "martyrs," Peleg traces a straight line of Jew-hatred that predates Zionism.

The source of the conflict is Arab rejection. From the Peel Commission in 1937 to the UN Partition Plan in 1947 to the offers made at Camp David and Annapolis, the Jews said yes to compromise. The Arab leadership said no every time, and the so-called "right of return" explains why.

Short, sharp, and built for real conversations, this handbook gives you the history, the quotes, and the numbers you need to answer the most common anti-Israel claims with confidence.

For students and young advocates facing hostility on campus and online, The Pro-Israel Handbook is a ready reference you will return to again and again.

For Christian readers who stand with Israel and want to defend her with more than good intentions, it provides the historical record behind the headlines and explains why the Jewish people's claim to their land is both biblical and historical.

Stop arguing with slogans. Start answering with facts.

Customer photo review of The Pro-Israel Handbook

The material in the book was good, but I felt it was incomplete. With all that’s going on in the world today, more should have been added, ie., over the past 60 years how universities have been trying to change history and putting a false narrative on the conflicts between Israel and other neighboring countries. There is antisemitism that is rising among college students, and of course the Hollywood crowd, main stream legacy media ( print and tv) and far left liberal politicians not to mention the new round of socialist, Marxist, Communist that are running for U. S. Congress

The Pro-Israel Handbook

The books arrived promptly and in great condition. I have not finished reading yet!

The Pro-Israel Handbook

The cover is cheesy... looks like a cartoon book written for children. The contents are helpful. The price - especially the shipping - was not justified by the received product. I considered it a donation.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

We need more literature to protect ourselves in public debates against the enemies of Israel.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

The Pro-Israel Handbook is easy to read and provides many documented facts to help counter the tsunami of disinformation and anti-Semitism that is plaguing the West. I look forward to sharing what I am learning to my family, friends, members of our church and whomever else is willing to listen to the truth.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

Looks like a really good book! I’ll enjoy reading it! Shalom! Philip

The Pro-Israel Handbook

It is the most knowledgeable book concerning the issues for Israel.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

I'm quite knowledgeable about Israel's history from Biblical times to the present, and I defend Israel vigorously with facts and ardor, but I bought this book thinking it would bring everything together in one place. It does, and it is definitely useful. I therefore recommend it heartily to everyone who is called to Israel's defense against the lies and hatred we face.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

I loved the book so much that I bought it for a friend. It gives very detailed info about the Arab Israel conflict from a fact based historical perspective. It is a must read for everyone who wants to understand the facts.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

Concise and erudite and honest well written book.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

Truth hurts. It always does. When someone has courage to reveal truth, then the exposed facts of historical fact just seem to hurt those who have either lied or have been so ignorant that they just do not even know "truth." Truth hurts. Every time it is tried. (To those who have refused to listen. Of course.)

The Pro-Israel Handbook

I love Israel. I have been a staunch defender of the land of God ! The only piece of property that is wholly owned by the Lord !!! Am a Watchman in prayer over the City of Jerusalem !!! I love the Lord’s Army - the IDF. I love everything about the land and the people of God !!

The Pro-Israel Handbook

It is very informative and extremely helpful. So glad I ordered it

The Pro-Israel Handbook

I just started reading this book and so far it has been very enlightening and informative, whether you agree or disagree with the author this makes for good reading whether you are Jewish or not

The Pro-Israel Handbook

I enjoy reading about God's STILL CHOSEN people, the Jewish nation. God is eternally faithful to His promises to them, and I believe that Israel will be standing long after all these nations and people who are their enemies will be gone forever.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

I have heard bits and pieces about the information in the book but never saw it in written form and expressed quite as clearly and accurately before. A very important feature is the annotations of sources of the information which greatly increases its credibility.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

I got the book yesterday after traveling for almost 3 weeks. Will start reading it this weekend.

The Pro-Israel Handbook

I've been wanting this information for quite some time and am so grateful you put it together in a book. I haven't finished reading it yet, but am truly enjoying the information so I can hold my own in a conversation with others on this topic. Thank you!
