They shout "Free Palestine." Do you know what to say back?

Since October 7, the campaign against Israel has moved from the fringes to the center of Western life. Students chant for intifada on elite campuses. Activists hail Hamas as a resistance movement. Slogans like "from the river to the sea" and "Nakba" are repeated everywhere, and most people who hear them have no idea what they mean or where they came from.

"The Pro-Israel Handbook is a powerful and essential tool for anyone who wants to understand, and explain, Israel's truth. It presents facts clearly, dismantles myths intelligently, and gives every reader the confidence to stand up for Israel with knowledge and integrity."
Prof. Mordechai Kedar, Israel's expert on Middle Eastern studies

Supporters of Israel know the slogans are false. But knowing it and proving it are two different things.

In The Pro-Israel Handbook, Matan Peleg, the former head of Im Tirtzu, Israel's largest student movement, and an IDF reservist who served in Gaza and Lebanon, gives you the facts that win the argument. Drawing on British Mandate records, Ottoman census data, 19th-century travelers' accounts, captured Palestinian Authority documents, and the words of Arab leaders themselves, Peleg makes three arguments that every defender of Israel needs to understand:

There is no such thing as a "Palestinian people." The Arabs who lived in the Land of Israel came from Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Bosnia, and dozens of other places, and their own leaders admitted that a separate Palestinian identity was invented for political purposes.

There is such a thing as a "Palestinian ideology," and it has Nazi roots. From the Grand Mufti's meeting with Hitler to Arabic editions of Mein Kampf in Gaza to UNRWA textbooks that teach children to count "martyrs," Peleg traces a straight line of Jew-hatred that predates Zionism.

The source of the conflict is Arab rejection. From the Peel Commission in 1937 to the UN Partition Plan in 1947 to the offers made at Camp David and Annapolis, the Jews said yes to compromise. The Arab leadership said no every time, and the so-called "right of return" explains why.

Short, sharp, and built for real conversations, this handbook gives you the history, the quotes, and the numbers you need to answer the most common anti-Israel claims with confidence.

For students and young advocates facing hostility on campus and online, The Pro-Israel Handbook is a ready reference you will return to again and again.

For Christian readers who stand with Israel and want to defend her with more than good intentions, it provides the historical record behind the headlines and explains why the Jewish people's claim to their land is both biblical and historical.

Stop arguing with slogans. Start answering with facts.

Well written and timely. Food for thought. Will recommend it !

Very good writing! I’m digesting it slowly, and eager to keep learning!

Love this book.We are Catholic, but we have many Jewish friends and some family members who are Jewish.

Good reading

I’m amazed at the continuity of the biblical text. There has to be a different way to refer to the Bible other than old and new. You really can’t separate the Bible from its beginning Genesis to revelation Time period o k but not the central figure.

very well written a must read for Jews in America. I am planning on making Aliyah in the Fall. I am sharing this book with every Jewish person I know

Great read and education

I read and process information and ideas in my mind. But the truth in this content wastes no time going to my heart. It’s me Rav Mischel is talking about, a secular American Jew not likely to be able to move to Israel. But the words won’t leave my heart and I am an American Jew nonetheless, not a Jewish American. Now I understand the difference. If I was financially able I would make 1000’s of copies of this book available to all Reform, Conservative, and Haredi institutions and synagogues, piled up on the table so they would be compelled to look, to read, to notice their hearts as they do. Countdown is a warning to all of us, a truth that needs to be told, now. I hope people will make this book available to all the young people in America who also need to learn the difference. G-d speaks through Rabbi Elie Mischel. Listen, hear, open your eyes and see.

Fascinating to share true truth.

Book arrived as scheduled. Very informative !!

As a pensioner, in Africa, the printed book plus shipping is totally out of reach for me. If you had an E-book available, at a more reasonable price, I would have bought it.

Great book. Nice addition to my End Times library.

I was expecting a hardbound book for the price; instead, I received a paperback item.
