Always good getting Israeli insights into God's word for Israel and the world, but through His chosen people Israel

Verses For Zion is truly a treasure! Rabbi Pesach Wolicki Does a wonderful Explanation of the Verses in His book. The book helped me a lot on my understanding of the Verses, and how they relate to Israel. I am a Christian on a journey to understand the roots of our Faith. I would recommend Verses For Zion for anyone on that same journey.

This is a fantastic book! Every word in the Hebrew bible is there for a reason, even misspellings and redundancies have great meaning when one takes time to explore beneath the surface of the text. Pesach Wolicki has a wonderful way of explaining these intricacies in ways that are easy to grasp, opening up whole new vistas into the Word of God for those of us who don't speak Hebrew. It is rather like going from an analog tv station to Digital HD! Or like taking a deep dive beneath the ocean's surface to see for the first time the wonders below. So inspiring to learn and to connect with the wisdom of the Torah as explained by learned Rabbi who is also a gifted communicator.
I'm very much enjoying the insights of the book. The Hebrew language is awesome, and the author brings out the depth God made integral in it.

I love the Scriptures and I love my limited knowledge of Hebrew, so this book is fascinating to me. I lived in the Old City and worked at Christ Church numerous times many years ago and loved the history there. I am 85 years old and still teach Scripture whenever I can…especially the Hebrew words…I see the character of the LORD in the Hebrew language…it’s so special. I recently learned that my German grandfather (who died in 1935) loaned money to Jewish people in the 30s to leave the country safely…they all paid him back with great thanks…I rejoiced the learn that!!!

A wonderful book opening up deep thoughts through the meaning of the Hebrew Scriptures. Bought for myself, and one for my friend.
Very much enjoyed learning deeper meanings of Bible verses/Psalms. Very easy to follow explanations of Hebrew translations/meanings that one would normally not notice. Book is written in English with meanings of Words in Hebrew and English that give deeper understanding of Bible readings. Focuses on God’s plan for the people of Israel and their land. With Israel and God’s chosen under attack and antisemitism increasing, Verses for Zion, is a timely read that will add to one’s “spiritual wisdom to help you stand up for God, the Bible and his chosen people”. Highly recommend.
I love the book's content but the only problem I have with the book is that starting on page 50 and up to page 214 (from there on every second page after) there is a big white line where the ink is missing so the printing has been messed up. I have to make or guess the words. It a bit of a pain but other than that I do really enjoy the book.
I love learning from from the teaching of Rabbi Wolicki. It really illuminates the passages in totally new way. I have learned so much in a short time. The writings are a perfect length to absorb without being overwhelmed.
As a student of the Tanach, I appreciate the insights in the devotional reading. It's great to go to the text with new appreciation.

The light this book sheds really clears things up, including our purpose & God’s plan through & by it, as we are just one little speck of a vast, eternal, infinite whole. Some profound realizations come from this book as I sit & ponder.
This book gave me new insights into the Hebrew Scriptures. I also found that it gave me a new understanding of the connection between God, the nation of Israel and the land of Israel.

I so enjoy my new book "Verses for Zion". I look forward to reading the next chapter every day. It is giving me a whole new perspective of reading God's word. It has enriched my studies of the word and given me a greater understanding of verses I would have originally skipped over. How very rich the Hebrew translations are & gives a clearer knowledge of Israel and the people of Israel. There is such a freshness to my Bible reading now. Thank you.
