I have been amazed that one line of a psalm can unpack so much in my life, It has been bringing out a real level of honesty before myself and God. So places have a Jewish perspective that I have not been exposed to before. I love the verse translated into Hebrew so I can attempt to pronounce the words and understand a bit of the intricacy of the Hebrew language.

Daily Devotional Journal is appropriate. The thoughts coming from a Rabbi , who also uses quotes from other Rabbis is very good and adds so much more. This gives a added Jewish perspective which is wonderful! Some thoughts sound so simple, yet reflect a beautiful spiritual truth. For example- Day 11 Volume 1 . “ This reading teaches that we should thank God for each breath we take . Each breath is an opportunity to express gratitude and recognise God’s presence in the most fundamental parts of our existence “ . Simple, and it’s so basic it’s easy to forget . I brought these books remembering a wonderful quote from a Messianic Jew. “ Christianity is basically a bubble of fantasy, until you place it on its Jewish roots, then it all makes sense”. Hallelujah!
